Information about visitors

The register has no user accounts and does not ask visitors for personal information. Standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, time) are kept briefly for security and capacity planning, then discarded. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

If you email the register, your message and address are kept only as long as needed to deal with it.

Information in hearing lists

Entries are reproduced from hearing lists that courts publish to the general public. That information is publicly available when it is collected. It is held so that past lists remain available, is displayed on this site, and is not sold or supplied in bulk to third parties. You may ask for access to, or correction of, information about you in line with the principles of the Privacy Act 2020.

Anyone named in an entry may ask for a correction or removal; see Corrections and suppression.

Hosting

The site is served from Cloudflare's global network, which may process request data outside New Zealand under its own privacy terms.
